Evidence of the net value of your business and personal assets This can include: For cash assets: bank statements or similar records of ownership. For real estate assets: evidence of ownership. This could be a certificate of title, title deed, valuation certificate by an accredited property valuer, or mortgage certificate. For personal loans: loan agreements showing the borrower and lender, loan statements showing the amount borrowed and repayment schedule. For stocks and bonds: share or debentures certificates, fixed interest securities, ownership and market value of claimed marketable securities such as bonds. For business assets: financial statements which include a balance sheet, profit and loss statement and notes to the accounts. They should be dated as at the fiscal year ending immediately before your date of invitation and must be completed to International Accounting Standards If you want to include assets held by a trust, you must include a copy of the trust deed. | |

You will be required to nominate a specific date within 3 months immediately before we invited you to apply. Summary statement of assets and liabilities Provide Form 1139A Statement of Assets and Liabilities Position. Evidence of asset ownership and value Provide evidence of your ownership of each asset, its value, and any liabilities against it as at the date you nominated. Provide: for business assets: a full set of financial statements dated as at the fiscal year ending immediately before you were invited to apply. An independent account must prepare these to International Accounting Standards. This statement must also show how it is applied in the day-to-day activities of the business. You must be able to provide evidence to support any claims made in the statement if we ask you to. |
Registered trademark For a registered trademark, provide evidence that proves ownership of the trademark. The relevant national or regional intellectual property administration office must issue this documentation. It must include enough information that we can assess whether your ownership meets the points requirement. Also provide a statement outlining how the trademark is relevant to your main business. This statement must also show how it is applied in the day-to-day activities of the business. You must be able to provide evidence to support any claims made in the statement if we ask you to. | |
Joint venture agreement For a joint venture agreement, provide a copy of the agreement showing: the details of the respective rights and obligations of the parties to the joint venture that you entered the agreement at least one year before we invited you to apply for this visa that your business is a party to the joint venture Also provide a statement outlining: how you used your skills at a senior level in the day-to-day management of the joint venture business evidence to support the claims made in the statement that the joint venture was operated in accordance with the joint venture agreement | |
Export trade For export trade, provide: Evidence that at least 50% of the turnover of your main business related to export trade. You could provide: monthly or annual tax returns showing the cumulative export sales of the main business for the year customs declarations the underlying source documents in relation to the export transactions We might ask you to provide a special-purpose report prepared by a qualified accountant attesting to your claim. | |
Gazelle business For a gazelle business, provide: evidence that your main business was registered no more than 5 years before we invited you to apply for this visa such as a business licence or company extracts the financial statements of the main business, with supporting tax documents, to show an average annualised growth in turnover greater than 20% per year over 3 consecutive fiscal years Also provide evidence that you have had 10 or more full-time employees for at least one fiscal year. This must be the same consecutive 3-year period claimed for growth in turnover. You could provide taxation records, insurance or superannuation documents or similar business records identifying each employee by name. | |

Dependents under 18 documents | For every dependant 18 years old or younger who is applying with you, provide: copies of birth certificates or the family book showing the names of both parents of all your dependent children copies of the adoption paper, if applicable. Parental responsibility documents You must get consent for any applicant under 18 years of age to migrate to Australia from anyone who: has a legal right to decide where the child lives and is not coming to Australia with the child They must complete either: Form 1229 Consent form to grant an Australian visa to a child under the age of 18 years a statutory declaration giving their consent for the child to visit Australia on this visa Alternatively, you can show us: an Australian court order that allows your child to migrate to Australia, or that the laws of your home country allow them to migrate Include: an identity document that shows the signature and photo of the person who completed the form or declaration, such as a passport or driver’s licence adoption papers or other court documents if applicable Note: If your child is likely to turn 18 while your application is being processed, you will need to provide evidence they are dependent on you. A child who turns 18 while your application is being processed and who is not dependent on you cannot satisfy the criteria for this visa. |
Dependents over 18 documents | To include your child who is over 18 in your visa application, they must be: over 18 years of age but not yet turned 23, and dependent on you or your partner, or over 23 years of age, nable to earn a living to support themselves due to physical or cognitive limitations and dependent on you or your partner Provide: identity documents documents about their other relationships, if applicable character documents If your child is likely to turn 23 while your application is being processed, you will need to provide evidence they are dependent on you due to disability. |
Proof of dependency You must demonstrate that the child is dependent on you, by providing: proof of your relationship with the dependant such as a birth certificate or adoption papers a completed Form 47a Details of a child or other dependent family member aged 18 years or over if the child is aged 23 or is likely to turn 23 while your application is being processed, you must also provide a report from a qualified medical practitioner that states they are dependent on you or your partner due to the total or partial loss of their bodily or mental functions You must also prove this person has been financially dependent on you for at least 12 months before you apply. You could provide: proof they live with you their tax records proof they are currently studying proof of payments made by you to them or on their behalf Note: A child who turns 23 while your application is being processed and who does not meet these requirements cannot satisfy the criteria for this visa. | |
