Canada PR Visa Processing Fees in India
Below is the breakdown of the cost that incurs during each stage of the processing.
Educational Credentials Assessment (ECA):
World Education Services (WES) governs the assessment process.
The total fees for ECA is Rs. 21,000 (CAD 200 approximately).
Permanent Resident Fee:
You need to submit your final PR application after you receive your ITA. Later, you need to wait until you receive the Invitation to Apply (ITA).
You need to bear the following costs if you are applying for permanent residency:
Application fee for Canada PR: CAD 550
For a secondary application (which can be your spouse’s), the fees remain the same (i.e., CAD 550).
For PR Visa of your dependent child, the fees is CAD 150
The application cost for Right to PR: CAD 490
Up to this point, the process and cost are almost the same for both Express Entry and PNP. Apart from this, you need to bear the cost of getting important documents.
Provincial Nominee Program:
The exact amount depends on the selected province. However, the general cost is as follows:
Fee for Primary Applicant is 550CAD
Fee for Secondary Candidate or Common-law partner is 550 CAD
Fee for Children (Under 22 years of age) is 150 CAD each
IELTS Test Requirements:
You need to score at least 7 bands in all the four modules of this test.
Presently, the fees for the IELTS test in India are around Rs. 12,650.
Fund requirement for Canada PNP:
PNP application fee: CAD 550 (Rs. 28,000)
Your Right to Permanent Residency Application Cost: CAD 490 (Rs. 25,000)
Cost to get a Health Certificate:
This is a mandatory document along with PR Application.
The cost of this medical examination is CAD110 (Rs. 5,500).
Fees of the Police Clearance Certificate:
In India, you can avail Police Clearance Certificate through Passport Seva Kendra.
You need to fill a fee of Rs. 500.
If you were residing in various countries, PCC from countries you lived in the last 10 years is essential.
Proof of Funds:
If you are migrating to Canada without a job offer, you need to be capable to maintain your family for at least 3 months.
